My goal is to apply sustainable landscape design principles to every project through careful analysis of the natural landscape and the programmatic needs of the client. I collaborate with engineers, planners and architects to develop context sensitive design solutions. That is, solutions that marry site improvements with respect for the surrounding environment and our client's needs.
My design work ranges from public parks and playgrounds, commercial, residential and institutional landscape facilities. This variety has given me a broad range of experience in unique design elements ranging from healing and native gardens, to urban skate parks to dog parks and urban trails.
I provide design services from conceptual design, construction documentation, to site observation: includes all elements you would find in the landscape.
- hardscape elements such as; pools, barbecues, fountains, fireplaces/pits, paving, retaining walls, fences, decks.
- softscape elements such as; planting, irrigation and lighting.
